Well, it was warmed up for you when you came back.
It really depends on how hot those tubes are running. Much worse on EL84 amps than many others. Just don't make it a regular practice AZ.

better than what my wife's cousin did to one of my tube pa's - he left it on without a speaker connected. fried something. got it fixed, but it's not the same now.Comment

preamp tubes can go like 3 yrs, depend how hard you push the amp. Stock tubes are cheap.tone slut

I doubt that you lost any tube life at all.
An idling class AB amp is pretty kind on tubes. Add that to the environment such as the HRD where the tubes are still operating below their potential even at full signal and you have a recipe for longer tube life anyway.
Quit worrying and play.Now operating part time: Glassman Tube Amps...repairs, rebuilds, restorations & modifications of tube equipment.
Still building: GlassMan Amplifiers (25 watt, all tube, single channel w/reverb, single 12" combo) and some more designs in the works.
