        Oh yeah, that's right.

        Yeah, I don't think the Splawn does too much that you couldn't cop pretty closely with your D60 if you wanted to.

          I had a bandmate once that paid about a grand in 1981 to buy a Mesa Boogie. We congratulated him after the show. "You just paid $900 to sound exactly like you do through your Fender Twin."

          Ted Nugent once asked if he could plug into Eddie Van Halen's rig after he heard Eddie playing. His tech said, "Knock yourself out, bud. You're going to sound exactly like you do through your Showman amps."

          You see what I'm saying? Fender amps rule! No, lol, that's not what I'm saying. Your tone is in your hands and your head. A different amp isn't going to make you sound better. Splawn amps are awesome. Budda amps are awesome. But they're just amplifiers. Someone on this page once said, "Ignore the hype. Trust your ears." Probably the best advice I've heard in a long time!
