  • Weber AlNiCo Silver Bell love

    Howdy,

After 2 years in my Dr. Z Carmen Ghia, I'm really digging the big low end the AlNiCO Silver Bell imparts to my tone; perfect compliment to the trebly Ghia. Anyone else enjoy the Silver Bell from Weber?

Not a Weber but I have a 1968 silver frame Alnico Celestion in my 62 Deluxe...great speaker!

The lows are the best part in my opinion...bold but controlled!

Friend of mine has a Silver Bell in an old Fender ... I wanna say Deluxe Reverb. (He has a pile of vintage amps and guitars). I really like the sound a lot!

I use a Silver Bell and a Blue Dog combo in several amps…

        Light doping!

All alnico, even though Weber does make them with ceramic magnets too.

I have the ceramic one and it sounds equally fantastic.
