This is kind of an open question to anyone who owns Lorantz speakers.
I am currently running two cabs live: One is loaded with Scumback M75s powered by a Bumbox Cielo and the other is loaded with Eminence Wizards powered by an EAST Studio 2.
I am looking for something that is sonically similar to the Scumback, but with greater sensitivity and a cleaner midrange.
The speaker that has recently caught my attention is the AC304P from Lorantz.
Will this be comparable to the Scumback? How would you classify it, tonally, when matched with a JMP clone (the Cielo)? Is there a Lorantz speaker you would steer me to over the 304P? I am trying to complement the Wizards, not replicate them -- or I would simply buy another pair of Wizards.
Any feeback would be appreciated!
