Re: Swapping Status LEDs on Pedals... II
It was a "Pink" LED. I don't remember how it was rated.
5mm.
I used a 1K resistor. I was going to shoot for a lower value one but I was afraid I'd blow the LED.
I came home to realize... it's installed wrong! when the pedal is on the LED is off, and when it's off the LED is on! I used the diagram from the past thread.
anyone know what I did wrong?

should work properly then.
1x 2 3x
4x 5 6x
7x 8 9
-----------
1- had a wire coming from the circuit board. it was yellow, so we'll call it yellow.
4- Had an orange wire this one went from the wet output jack to lug 4.
7- had a black wire coming from the board that I can only assume is ground.
i used this diagram which tells me to wire the LEDs + to lug number 3 and ground lug 6. I did.
i put the resistor where it is in the diagram.
and it worked, but backwards.

Re: Swapping Status LEDs on Pedals... II
Put the whole LED + resistor chain on the opposite side of the switch.
If your diagram were numbered thusly:
1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
... you should be connecting the LED to pole 9.Band: www.colouredanimal.com

Why did it work the opposite way?
is it because when you switch it goes from the 1st row (123) to the 3rd (789)?
Edit: i've been trying to find a good website where I can learn about pedal mods and more about how to work on pedals in general. any suggestions?
