Monday, I went down to the area guitar center and picked up a Guitar Research T60r 1x12 combo. I had seen it a couple months back. Did a little research and decided it would do for a jammin' amp. It's not too shabby in the distortion department with a 12ax7 preamp tube. The clean channel is solid state and is on par. For $100, i'm not complaining!




The design on it is a vinyl decal, which i'm removing soon. Might also swap out the 12ax7, too.

looks pretty solid! didn't know about that hybrid. might be nice for my growing hybrid family if I ever see one around.

what's it shine at - low gain, clean, rock, etc....

from the gain channel, you can go from a dirty clean to metal sound. it could've used at least another tube for the clean channel. from what i read, it was a line carried by sam ash. it also come in a head/cab version.
