          Jaco used Joni M.'s JC-120 twin 12" for a bunch of things on the album "Mingus".
          Might be interesting for low-wattage cleans, but nothing else.

            I'm not 100% sure, but I think James Hetfield uses a JC120 head in one of his rack units just for his cleans.

                  Yeah, he's used a JC120 of some sort for decades. Used to have a combo mic'ed up, but now he uses the head just like this one.

                    One of my local shops had one these BITD- I think they went out of business before they ever sold it.

                      Yeah I just can't really imagine this sounding all that good to be honest. It is rather intriguing simply based on the rarity alone, but $1800 worth of intriguing? I think not.

                        I vaguely remember there being a JC120 head, but I have never seen a matching quad cab before. Cool.

                        I always thought the JC120 combo was too boomy on the bottom; can't imagine what a 4x12 sealed-back version of it must be like.

                        I lot of guys ran 2-amp systems in the 80s: JCM800 half-stack with a JC120 slid in the middle.

                              One thing I do like about the head would be running the stereo outs into separate speaker cabs so I can put some distance between the cabs and really get the chorus to shine. But something about having a head and two cabs for a one trick pony amp just seems a bit ludicrous.
