Silvertone 1483 head?

Got a possible chance at a 1966 Silvertone 1483 head for under $200. I know it was originally released as a bass amp, but how are these for guitar?

Any issues with these, other than at 45 years old, might need a cap-job?

they were made to be ****ty amps, so there is always the risk of them falling apart

I'd get one for $200 though, they still sound good

Freaking monsters, jump on it. I have owned a few, each were fabulous. All three of mine were mid 60s amps, original tubes, original iron. Make sure you service the filter caps toss a 3 pronger on and enjoy..
