  • Wanna see my worlds greatest pedal friendly rig?

    Yeah, I own it. Dig it..its got Hi-Fi Dynaco transformers ( look *that up in your Funk N' Wagnells TGWIF). I took some pics of the inside. Look at those magnificent old Hi-Fi Behomoth X-formers as used on old hi-Fi Dynaco tube amps like the Mk series Dynaco Hi-Fi tube amps.
    What this means ( in this amp)is the amp is really EXTREMELY tonally neutral, and not the least bit exciting.;
    Very Boooring.
    BUT..its a very exciting and and great platform for pedals.

        Reverb is decent, not great. Tremolo is outrageous! I should take this chance to mention this amp does distort at volume in a very pleasing manner through an 4x12 Marshall greenback Cabinet..and believe it or not, it gets early Bassman Tweed tone in spades( with a special extra bass THUMP) through a 4x10 cabinet loaded with 30 watt Fender style alnicos.
        Very special Dynamic amp the Sunn 100s. Now running a Jensen C12K/ Eminence Texas Heat ( Waiting on one Weber Alnico 50 watt Alnico to replace the Emi Tx Heat) pair in an old 2x12 '68 Bassman cabinet for those Massive but not sterile very Hi-Fi Cleans.
        It illustrates the importance of the speaker/cab in concert with the Amp.
        Lots of History. Played by some greats. Sunn 100s.

                    Nice, man. That looks like a really fun little rig.

                              I've always liked those old Sunn amps. Very cool!

                              Reminds me of when I was playing back in the late 60's early 70's. I had a couple friends with Sunn amps and I was always just a little bit jealous. But I had my little Bandmaster with 4x12 JBL 120's and could pull my own.
