Re: What say you?
Definitely not 60's - looks like a 70's Bassman/Bamdmaster cab.
See if you can talk it down a bit. 175 would be pretty good, 150 a great deal.Custom neck-thru strat

Re: What say you?
It is a 60's cab. In '68 they began making the larger size for the Bassman and Bandmaster 2x12.
In '68 they sold for $250 loaded with the Jensen spkrs.
For a 45 year old unloaded 2x12 Bandmaster cab I'd say $150 tops if in excellent condition (no cracked joints, no tears in the tolex or fabric). An Avatar cab is a much better quality build IMHO. And NEW unloaded they sell for only $259 with lots of options for jack plates to choose from. Loaded with Greenbacks, V30s, G12H30s, Swamp Thangs, etc., etc. for only $399. Can't beat that for great quality new!
If he's firm on $200, I'd tell him to lay off the hard stuff and pass on the deal.Originally Posted by IanBallard
