Hi there everyone. I have a pair of celestion g12t-75's and a pair of vintage 30's. Hopefully in the near future I'm going to build myself a pair of 2x12 cabs for them. I was wondering should I keep the pairs together or should put one of each speakers in each cab? Also does anyone have or know were I can download some specs for a rectifier 2x12 or an orange 2x12 closed back speaker cab? Thanks in adavance

Re: Question for building 2x12 cabs
I had the gt75s in my Marshall JCM 800 combo, and I have Vin 30 S in a 2x12 Carvin cabinet. I didn't really like the tone of each, but I mixed the two together and really like how they compliment each other. The 75s have a scooped tone, Vin 30s a middy tone, so they fill out each other nicely.
I read somewhere that this combo is geared towards modern metal players, whereas a Vin 30 G12H30 is geared more towards classic rockLast edited by jmh151; 01-14-2012, 10:36 AM.

Re: Question for building 2x12 cabs
Thanks jmh151. I was beginning to think nobody was going to respond. Sounds like I'm going to use one of each in both cabs. There's no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid mistakes!
