^Damn guys.....take it easy...since when did I ever seriously fight anyone here????
It is humor..maybe bad....but it is far from serious.
Everybody here knows that I use alot of compressors
Got a whole bunch of them.
And I do not care how old or lack of old we are here......
Gear is gear, and we may tend to put a way bit too much stock in that.....
It is no new thing with guitarplayers and compressors, they often turn the sustain way up, where it will just squash any attack and such(not that it cannot be used in certain situations)
Then this new deprived from studio consoles "blend" comes in.....(think it was a Guyatone tubecomp that first came around).....dunno maybe it is just me, but I never liked it much on guitar(limited to the mids only instrument and such)
Oh well new traps are made so we can sell some more, and some will like it...yeah it is cool!
Once again sorry about the sarcastic humor here.....should be applied only when people know me better(guess I have been here way too long, so I just automaticly go down that route often...haha)
