Ohm Question

I don't know if this has already been covered, or if this is a stupid question... but will an 8ohm speaker sound different than a 16ohm speaker of the same kind? Do different ohms have different tone? (Providing that the amp can be run at different ohm settings)

If i remember correctly, the audiophiles say that the lower the ohmage the brighter the tone i.e. 4 ohms is bright and 16 ohms is dark.

IMHO, there's so many other variables it would be hard to tell.

I've heard that the difference is pretty subtle though. Most people I've asked that to told me not to worry about it.
