Tech 21 Boost Chorus: Sounds great! Very easy to dial in a good sound. You've gotta be a doofus to make it sound bad. Owners manual came with various sample settings emulating other chorus pedals. It delivers. Solves the problem of volume drop experienced with my EHX Small Clone. Voice button changes the character from subtle to a more pronounced multi voice effect. Both settings are very useful. Its able to achieve more 'whacky' sounds like stutter and really swirly underwater effect. Not my cup o tea but its a very flexible chorus pedal. Add that it can very closely mimic other chorus sounds I think its a keeper.

Carl Martin Classic Flange: If you know me, I like a thick flanger sound. The Classic Flanger is not. It has a very laid back flanger sound, boosting the depth knob to max still yielded a vintage flange sound. It is still very musical, yet subtle at the same time. The tone was warm and wavy. The speed button wasn't very useful. When activated you can either slow down or speed up the modulation. Switching from one to the other wasn't very musical and required tweaking of the speed knob anyways. The feedback knob was too sensitive. Too much feedback produced a nasally, laser sounding effect. Too little and the sound I'm looking for is gone. Might have to figure out a way to lock this knob down once its set. My favorite thing was the LED that is timed with the swirly flanger sound to give you real-time visual confirmation of the speed of modulation. I love this feature. I wish more time based pedals would incorporate this.

With Flangers you need to work both depth and feedback....
Try to lower the depth while using alot of feedback.....and so on....and its name is not Classic for the fun of it;)

The speed control sounds like my Maestro PS1! :)
