twin tube blue footswitch pop

Hi everybody.. first post here..
Just got a twin tube blue and I can hear the footswtch pop thru the amp. Either switch, doesn't matter they both pop. Seems to diminish the warmer it gets and SD tells me its "normal because it's true bypass", but I am wondering if it is normal or maybe a fault with the pedal.
Anybody else experience this?

I have the Twin Tube Classic and I can't say I have noticed any popping when I switch between lead and rhythm or turning it off and on.
