Anyone here have a Blackstar HT1? I know a few guys with HT5s and I'm just curious as to weather or not it's worth the extra bucks to go with an HT5 for a knockaround amp.....

Check page 5 for my thoughts on the ht1.I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance.

Tried one. Went with a Fender Mustang I instead.
It sounded fine clean, but the high gain mode sounded terrible. No definition or clarity at all. It reminded me of the "Supersat" mode on my Peavey Rage 108.Last edited by ratherdashing; 05-11-2012, 05:54 PM.Band: www.colouredanimal.com

Tried the combo through a Dean 4x12. Monstrous!
No headroom at all, but the tone was just brutal.Epiphone LP Standard PlusTop Pro
Ibanez SZ320 / A8 DD103 bridge.
Ibanez RG270 / Screamin' Demon bridge.
Egnater Tweaker 15 Head / Laney Cub 8 / 2x12 - Celestion V30+K100
Line 6 M13 and plenty of stompboxes I rarely use!
