  • Loving WCR Green Berets & Veteran 30's

I talked about these when I first put them in, but the more I play them the better they sound.

I've got Green Berets in a 50w Crate Vintage Club, and they really make a huge difference. Nice midrange and creamy distortion. The breakup is gradual, but I get great tone even at lower volumes. To my ears they sound as good as any Greenback I've played through.

I put a pair of Veteran 30's in my friend's JCM800 combo, and they seem to bring out the best in that amp. Now it sounds like a JCM 800, oddly enough.

    Just sayin'

The amazing part of it is the price. You really get more than you pay for. Great company to deal with too.
