  • Recommend me a back up amp.

My current amp is a Mesa/Boogie Single Rectifier Solo 50. I love everything about this amp, but I would like to get something else just to have around to change things up everyonce and awhile, and also to have a back up in case of any issue that may arise.

I'm looking to stay tube, and also to not break the bank too much, though I am not advers to saving up a bit. I play a mixture of metal and hard rock on my own, and more punk/pop punk with my band.

The only things I've really looked at are the egnater tweaker series and the peavey 6505+ and the valveking.

    Any suggestions along these lines?

I really like the tweaker but to get good punk tones you'll have to get an OD in front. 6505s are gain monsters not so good cleans tho. Valvekings suck.
