    NCD: Chilly Bird 4x12

    I was searching my local Craigslist and spotted 2 of these for $150 each. Called him up, checked em out and the construction was awesome. Said he moddled them after Rivera/Mesa style cabs.

    He owned his own buisness for a few years local here (VA Beach) and it didn't take off as well I suppose. Shame as the cab is a monster. Huge sounding. I loaded it with 2 eminence M12s and 2 Celestin G12H-65s. So far so good!

    Not really needed, but the price was right and I kinda wanted a good 4x12 for grins and giggles haha! Now I have a cab for the Egnater build I'm doing next month too!!!

            Badass, man. I really dig that tolex/grillcloth colour combo.
            I remember calloused hands and paint-stained jeans, and I remember safe-as-houses self-belief.

                  It's suprisingly light weight for 3/4" birch ply all the way around. I was suprised. The more I play through it the more I like it. Sounds very BIG and full.

                      He had a GORGEOUS bluesbreaker style cab as well... But I have 2 2x12s already.
