Very true. But Jeff keeps sounding better and better and his tone has improved since he started using the Klon.

I have a mate who has the Gold Klon.....and one very old TS-808.....we jammed with a band.....there was about close to no difference in most settings.....
A pedal is no more glorious than the amp it is used over!

Not saying that any of these pedals sounds bad, but they do not sound that much apart either.

As said before, do not put so much emphasis on gear, Beck always sounded the way he sounds, Klon or not...
