    Should I attmept a Speaker Recone?

    My EV12L needs a recone. they have a kit for 65.00. It would probably cost me double that to send it off for recone to a pro.
    As you may know, I am a klutz, a fumble fingeras , and a general eff up.
    So should I . Anyone here try it?;

    Be a leader...be the first to go coneless.
    Now operating part time: Glassman Tube Amps...repairs, rebuilds, restorations & modifications of tube equipment.

    Still building: GlassMan Amplifiers (25 watt, all tube, single channel w/reverb, single 12" combo) and some more designs in the works.

          try it. It cant be rocket science. Just take your time and do your research.

                Good point. I'm gonn a ride with NO. the extra mosny is gonna be a bitter pill to swallow, but for a virtually prefect condition new EV12L, a hundred 25 isnt oo bad . Thread closed.
