  • Rub-a-dub Reverb Ahoy!

I've had the PCB's kicking around for this for about a month now but never really did anything with it.

I just ordered the reverb module for it and a bunch of wimas and micas.
Hopefully they should all arrive within 1-2 days then ill fill this out with progress pics.

I attached a pic below. You will also notice there is a delay PCB in there too which is for when I next do a big order from mouser so I can get the specific rotary switch.

It's a pretty cool design that emulates 3 vintage delay/echo pedals.

All the PCBs are from Josh @ 1776 effects who is a great guy to deal with that puts out some very high quality boards.

Here's a quick demo of the reverb by a guy on youtube who built it stock
A Rub-a-Dub Reverb (board by Josh at 1776 Effects) pedal I built using the long-brick version of the Belton/Accutronics reverb unit. Super bright white LED....

and here's some very stoned sounding guys demo with an added level knob which I plan ona dding
1776's Rub A Dub Reverb circuit. Really captivating reverb!!

The reverb itself is really simple and shouldn't take more than a couple of hours depending how I decide to finish the enclosure.

The delay however will be a fair bit more and i'm tempted to do a fancy acid etch on the enclosure which will take up even more time. I just need to find some suitable graphics.

            Rotary switch.

I've seen some of the builds of Josh's effects - especially his tape delay emulations. Quality stuff. Have fun!

Do it! The boards are dirt cheap and are very nicely laid out so shouldn't cause any build problems at all.
