I got one for myself last month and enjoying it as a practice amp. It has a nice wet modulated overdrive sound for noodling 90's style. I haven't really cranked it yet. Purpose of this for me was to have something to turn on and play at low volume right away. Low low volume and headphones.

The several amp voices are pretty good depending on your guitar. It can get mushy. It is a modeling amp and acts like a real amp except for a noise gate type of behaviour.

Anyways here's a short soloing clip of hard rockish solo only using the camcorder mic. The stereo sound helps this and is also useful using this amp as a computer speakers. I use an audio out cord into the amp to feed some drum sounds.

I picked up one for brother for xmas. He loves it. He lives like 2 hours away from a guitar center. I tested out a few amps and picked this one. Paid here and had them send one to the nearest gc.

My brother had gc deliver the amp to his place. He loves the sounds. He's got a small place with his family and needed a small amp that wouldn't take up space. The blackstar fit the bill
