  • Nuno Randall NB15 practice amp

Is my Nuno Randall NB15 practice amp supposed to sound like a Bass Amp? If I turn the Bass knob on the EQ up past the 8 o'clock position it is WAY too much bass.
I'm playing my 3 Washburn Nuno model guitars thru it. 2 have Bill Lawrence and 1 has the SD Dimebag pickups. All 3 guitars are way too bassy.
If anybody here has experience playing similar gear thru one of these amps I would love some input.

Also any suggested Amp Settings for a good Nuno tone with my gear is appreciated.

    Thanks

That amp is dark, no question about it. That may be his preference now but it sounds nothing like the early Extreme albums which was i believe an ADA preamp as well as JCM 800 channel switchers. I saw them in the clubs for 2 years and he was a Marshall guy for the most part, in the very early days he played Laney AOR heads. Either rig was brighter than the newer Randall stuff.
