          Sounds like they only cut...the tone pots are used only as variable resisters. If they only boosted, you'd hear a flat EQ when turned all the way "off". Am I wrong?

                    Pop it said....
                    The following SuperSonics had the same thing going on, had to balance the two volumes pretty well to avoid the worst of it(between the clean and the dirty one)
                    Sold that sucker after it killed itself, well I fixed it but it pissed me off so much that I sold it!
