also the pwr xfmr connections to the PCB, chassis gnd and how to get tne tubes in.
BIG question is how to wire the pwr xfmr to the AC plug

The circuit has it wired for 240/260 volts. Is that your power voltage or are you using 110/130 volts ?
I'm presuming your Red and Black wires are the 115v taps.

Yes, 110/130 am running. Do you have any suggestions on how to wire the darn thing?

Have you got a multi meter ? Test the black and red wires for continuity. There will be two pairs. Work out which red goes with which black. Connect your 110/130 to one of the pairs. Insulate the other pair.[ don't tie them together ]Red should probably be connected to the active side of the power coming in .[ after the fuse and switch ]
As in the schematic: just leave out connecting one of the 115v taps.

Yes, have a multi meter. Thanks for your help...if you hear no more from me I have been electrocuted by a cheap Chinese amp. Other wise I will report on how it works/sounds.

With dual voltage primary PT's that I have had, for 120V, the wires were paired connecting the windings in parallel.

Which I presume would be Red and Red connected to each other and Black and Black connected to each other.[ Have to be in phase ]
Yes this connection will deliver full current.

Wired red to red to AC +, black to black to AC return and am getting only 50% voltage reading at J20 - J23 points. Tried individual red/black pairs and get the same reading. Is there some toroidial PT wiring alternative that will get the full voltage to the board?

                          J20 and J21 should be 260V
                          J22 and J23 should be 6.3 V
These are both A.C. connections. Is your MM set to A.C. ?
I hope you weren't trying to read J20 to J23, they're two separate coils.

                            J22 and J23 are reading a shade over 3V.
                            MM is set to A.C.
Reading from ground to J22 then from ground to J23. Same with reading technique for J20 and J21 which read ~130.

No: read straight from each terminal, there's no ground connection at that point.
                              J20 - J21
