I have a Solton 8x10 Cabinet Mod b-810, Ser#135/83 480 Watts 4ohms. I played bass thru a Peavey MarkIV head. It played at low volume but when I turned it up some POP & no sound. Opened it up & two of the speaker had wires dissconnected. I've re-sodered them & have continuity now. The Peavey is 800watts. 210W at 4ohms, 300W at 2ohms. Looking for some ideas as to what bass head to use with this cabinet if not this one. I'm guessing the cab is from 1983. I did alot of sidering to get all the speakers working, I may need new speakers. Looking for some input from people that know alot more than me about this. Thanks in advance. Cheers.
