Thinking of a new amp, mainly practice/ home use, firstly how good is the champion 50. secondly, can i put backing tracks through the amp, love to put drums ect behind my guitar. Am I able to purchase backing tracks that I can load onto my laptop, then through the amp, I see a lot of 1 man band singers in pubs, using a lap top, never done it. Most of these guys are not good guitarists, some only move to the fret required for the chord, the backing seems to do the rest. I have a mate in western Australia, who does markets & aged care homes, he has a good voice & uses a yamaha keyboard, which the last time I saw it had built in tracks. I noticed in 1 of his videos, he now uses a laptop, without embarrassing myself by asking him, how is this done?
