Vintage 30 (vs) Avatar Hellatone 60?
I know the Avatar is aged or whatever but is it the same speaker and why is it cheaper than a v30?

I've got both. It's the same speaker. Dave actually puts a Hellatone label over the Vintage 30 label. The Hellatone from what I understand is just broken in so it saves you all those hours. Sounds great right out of the box. I don't know why it's cheaper. You'd think it would be more expensive! I've got both Hellatone 30's & 60's and they are just great.

I've got a Hellatone 30 (G12H) in my DRRI, and I like it.

I think you'd have to ask Dave how he manages to sell them cheaper, but my guess is that he buys unlabeled speakers in bulk, and gets the best deal he can.

Does the Hellatone sound the same as the v30 after the v30 is broke in? Does the Hellatone have that annoying high frequency of the v30?
