Just checked the classifieds and left a message on the guys machine... These are the only Marshall's I've ever really liked. How much would you guys pay for one? The go for anywhere from 800-1200 on eBay, so I'm not quite sure. I might get it just to turn a profit, if it's cheap enough. Also, if anyone wants on the forum, I'd be happy to get it and ship it out.

You buy that thing and re-tube it and the 5150 will be up for sale :D

I always liked that amp..AS LONG AS it has proper tubes..none of that 5881 garbage ;) :D

Assuming great shape, I don't think 1K is unreasonable.

^^^ What he said!

Those things really rip with EL34s in them. They sound average with 5881s.

Re: There's a Marshall 30th Anniversary 3100 in the Paper

Is it the 1992 Blue Tolex version? Make sure it's not the 6100LM model which was made with 5881 tubes and produced through 1998. The 1992-93 models are the ones to get.

Re: There's a Marshall 30th Anniversary 3100 in the Paper

got to get the non-LM models 1992-93 with the EL-34's they kill !!!!! had one for awhile . and it was very cool .

Re: There's a Marshall 30th Anniversary 3100 in the Paper

Just called, it's a black tolex, and they want 1250. I'll pass.

Re: There's a Marshall 30th Anniversary 3100 in the Paper

What tubes are in there?

Grind 'em down to 900 and see what they say. ;)

Re: There's a Marshall 30th Anniversary 3100 in the Paper

5881's, and apparently it's in a store on commission. The lowest they'd go was 1100 :(.

Re: There's a Marshall 30th Anniversary 3100 in the Paper
