  • G12T-75/G12H30 mix

Anyone tried this mix of speakers in a 2x12 or 4x12? Opinions?

I know Bogner mixes '75s with V30s in some of their cabs.

My guess is that it would sound a little more rounder, fuller, and smoother and not as in-your-face as the V30 mix.

I mix g12t75 and the wizard. The highs are a little prominent but it sounds great and has a ton of lows but the resonant frequencies are different so they dont clash. The g12t75 is at 80 hz and I beleive the wizard is around 90?

I am eventually going to do that with my 2X12 Bogner. The 75/V30 mix sounds killer in a 4X12 so I bet it would sound awesome in a 2X12 also. I think the 75/V30 combo could be the ultimate speaker set-up for rock music.

That would probably mixx well with the Legacy because it's a dark, smooth amp and would balance out well.

I remember GearJoneser playing his Ecstacy head through a Bogner 2x12 and it sounded killer.... wonder what he's got in there?
