  • Just ordered an Earcandy Buzzbomb

I'm going to put in the V30/G12H30 combo in this 2X12. Can't wait to hear it after all the great advice I got on it.

Here's a link to their site. Their descriptions get you all jazzed up but people on this forum advised it is the best 2X12 they've ever had. I was thinking of a Genz-Benz Gflex but nobody thought it was anywhere near as good as the Earcandy. I've never heard one but it was only $350 shipped with a great rep plus my choice of colors. They've got lotsa color combinations.

              Those are nice 75LP.

What amp are you gonna drive it with?
              Jackson, Ibanez & Ovation Guitars
              Laney, Marshall & Peavey Amplification

((tube max dissipation wattage / amp plate voltage) x % of max dissipation wattage) x 1000 = bias current in mA

Gonna order one after the first of the year. I have a couple of Classic 80s on the way to drop in mine.

Re: Just ordered an Earcandy Buzzbomb

It is mainly going to be my cab for my new Vox AD60VTX. I'll also use a Crate Blue Voodoo and see if it is better than the stock Crate 4X12 which I also loaded with the same v30/G12H30 mix in an X pattern. If it is, I'll sell the Crate cabinet.

The classic 80's are nice speakers. Hope you get what you're looking for (and me too).

It doesn't come with the speakers for the $350. I just needed an empty cabinet because I've got a few extra Celestions.

Sure. Especially if you check out the Hellatones or any other good speakers on ebay. The Hellatone 60 is a Celestion Vintage 30 just broken in, and the Hellatone 30 is the Celestion G12H30 again, just broken in.
