    I get weak in the knees at the sight of a vintage Fender amp!

    Ronnie Montrose was on a local radio show promoting a local gig. In the interview he talked about buying several of these and giving them to his guitar friends for fun (one person being Carlos Santana). He ended up using the story to make a tone is in the fingers statement. Saying even thru that little toaster amp with the same guitar Santana sounded like himself and when he played it was Montrose.

      Yup. Played a few at the Arlington Guitar Show a few months back. They sound good through an efficient speaker cab but the built in speaker sounds like ass. If I could get to the guts of it I'd be willing to bet it's a LM386 chip based amp. Very easy to build your own. Cool enclosure idea nontheless.
