Anyone know where to get a different color jewel light for my Mesa Tremoverb combo? I would like to switch to a different color than green. Perhaps a bright blue, white or purple.

    PRS Tremonti
    PRS Singlecut, SC245 or SC250

Post a picture of what it looks like. If it's the stock old Fender 6.3v type, they are pretty easy to come by. I can point you to a few places that sell them. I just don't know what Mesa uses.

Sorry, but I have to ask- Why?

Is this some super-secret tone tip that I don't know about?

Simply about aesthetics. I just thought it might look cool, and I assume it will cost hardly anything. Just something small to make my amp unique from the others.

          Re: Amp Jewel Light

changing the jewel light is very common

the Fender style jewels are available from quite a few sources, like Antique Electronics, but like Scott, I'm not sure if Mesa uses the same type

I like it. Try to find something really unique. Hey, how about a blacklight-looking jewel? That would be really cool.

Contact my friend Todd @ www.revolutionguitar.com He has bags full in every color. I'm sure he'd mail you one, if you sent him a buck or two. He's also a new forum member RevolutionMan. He's a cool dude. I went over his place one time, and he handed me one in every color. I change the color on my amp, anytime I get bored now. LOL

When I had my Mesa Rectoverb I swapped it to a blue Fender jewel and it popped right in with no problems.

                    Cheaper than a new amp.

I get weak in the knees at the sight of a vintage Fender amp!

That is mighty generous of you brotha. I would have no problem paying for them though.
