      I have not done a brownface (but I'd like to).

      I do have a '66 Deluxe all stock with original glass, though.

      Like to try a Tweed Deluxe as well.

      They all sound great cranked (but keep that bass low).

            when they first started making the browns in '60 the controls were bass treble volume speed intensity, hence center volume amps. the pro, super, and bandmaster are all basically the same circuit but the 3x10 speaker configuration and mismatched output tranny (4ohm with 2.67ohm load) of the bandmaster is the one i was playing. i have a 5e7 (tweed bandmaster) clonish amp thats great but the brown circuit tightens things up a bit but still has the awesome mids that are lost in the bf/sf amps.
