Got a Randall RG1003 head coming in a few days. I love anything Randall. I have an older early 2000s RG G2 Series 2×12 combo that's been my main amp forever. Looking forward in running this head through my 2×12 Marshall and see if there is much a difference in the newer models. Other than not having a built in chorus they look similar. Anyone have the RG1003H?

Being comparatively oversized, they sound amazing, low-end really holds together cranked up and the heavy hardware from what I can tell you so far years down the line, is as solid as it looks. I’ve seen more than a few studio YouTube channels plug the HB but they’re using them at studio volume (and I have some insider info that some of them have some kind of deal where they get to keep it in exchange for the plug or get a percentage as long as they keep mentioning them.)
I haven’t heard or tried the HB cranked but I don’t have a great feeling about them holding up at gig volumes. The Randall does though. If you find the 2x12 V30 Diavlos still for sale, chuck me a link too.The opinions expressed above do not necessarily represent those of the poster and are to be considered suspect at best.
