Looking for a recommendation for a set of cans

I forget the model name, but Guitar Center sells a pair of AKG reference headphones for $69.99. they're pretty clean and flat. REally good headphones for the price.

I am a big fan of Sennheiser. They sound just as good as AKG's and have better soundproofing (if you have kids or noisy neighbours, this is a great feature). I'm not sure what's available for less than $100 though.
