        That's actually low for them.....they're usually $300.00 & up for a matched pair

          yeah...$200 a pair is a bargen! There are other tubes that bring WAY more that $200 a pair...not to say that 200 bones for a pair of tubes is not a lot of cheese, it is but price a set of 6146's or NOS 7027's...and those are just 2 off the top of my head...

                I've seen some audiophile type tubes, can't remember what, but they were $800.00 a pair!!!

                You think we're gear crazy....These guys that deal in high end audio equipment are completely NUTS!!!

                The local guy I get tubes from Ken at www.tubeman.com has a GIGANTIC collection of albums. The last time I was there, he showed me his audio room......MASSIVE surround sound stereo equipment. The very best of everything.

                Made me & my Pioneer stereo seem completely insignificent

                          I think Mike @ KCA NOS usually sells them in the $300s, but matched pairs in good condition are VERY RARE!!!!\

                            Yeah...Mike sells them for $385 a pair...most guys don't even really need them but if you have a JTM-45 a set of GEC KT-66 IS THE TUBE TO GET!

                              You know, it would be hilarious if the guy setting those up for a pic knocked the tubes over somehow and busted them into a million pieces.
