  • 2 channels OD/disto stompbox

Do you know of any OD/distortion pedal that have two channels you can switch from one to the other. Well, something that allow you to have a good rythm tone, and quick in and out a boosted sound for the solo.

I have seen the Bulldog distortion seems to do this. Anybody ever tried this pedal? Any other suggestions?

I second the Jekyll & Hyde. Also, the Route 66 by Visual Sound might do what you're asking in a different way, as one side is a Tubescreamer type OD and the other is a Dynacomp-ish compressor that could kick your tone in the a$$ just a bit for leads.

V-twin, blues and lead channels, and the blues channel can be set (easily w/ a screwdriver) to actually be even heavier than the lead channel

And you still have "bypass" for playing clean....

ToneBone Tri-Mode, 2 channels, true bypass uses a 12AX7. My son loves his, won't let me borrow it! http://www.tonebone.com/tbone-trimode-features.htm

wait it out...the SFX-03 blows away both the V-twin and the tonebone.

I haven't played it myself. But I use and love their Meat boost pedal. Well built, flexible controls, true bypass, and righteous tone. I imagine the Death Rattle would be good too, and worth considering.

                    Cheers

I hear rave reviews of the Radial Hot Brit

I have used the VTWIN a ton - the clean is amazing

The only problem in balancing the 2 channels, you cannot preset the amount of volume change. The VTWIN has some interesting tones if you sub in a 12aY7 or 12At7 in one position.
