    Do you open a Fender S. Twin reverb chasis ?????

    The amp section is basicly hanging from the top via 4 screws. The metal strips on eith side....those are them. Turn the thing upside down to take out the screws. The amp section will want to drop like a rock if you don't. I'd also imagine that you will want to disconnect the wires to the reverb pan first. Beware of lethal voltages inside even if not turned on.

      Yeah, that was what I figured out initially.
      I tried unscrewing the top metal strips .. argh ..
      Just couldn't pull them out

        CORRECT me if I'm wrong guys ...

        I managed to open the S Twin reverb and guess what ... i COULDN'T FIND THE BIASING KNOB !!!
        Does that mean that its self-bias ?

              if there's a bias pot ( I don't know that particular chassis ), then it should be accessible from the bottom of the chassis without removing it.

              the bias pot should look like a jack from underneath. it's adjusted with a flat screwdriver.

                Don't have .. i checked several times after getting the tray outta the chassis

                argh .. should've taken a picture and let you guys see.
