  • I´ve got a plan....GAS-related^^

So..I´d like to change my setup amp-wise.

Got a Marshall MG 30, a Korg 1500 and a POD2. It´s not that bad but I had a vision the other day.

What do you think of the combination of a
Peavey Classic 30 (change speaker, new tubes perhaps)

with a Fulltone OCD in front

    and for fx a T.C. G-major

I liked the OCD clips very much on their page but is there another amp I should consider?

I loved the smooth overdrive/distortion tone..kinda Shawn Lane meets Eric Johnson. The music I play is mostly Rock/Fusion/Jazz.

MOst of the time I use a Ibanez RG2570 with an Air Norton in the neck and a Breed in the bridge but I also like my Squire Strat and need the typical Strat quack

What do you think of this setup? Does the amp do justice to the Fulltone OCD pedal? I mean, the pedal costs the half of the amp..hope the amp is ok nevertheless (because I liked it quite a lot).

    Thanks in advance

Everyone I've heard from doesn't consider the OCD to be smooth, but rather raw and uncompressed...?

Check out MI Audio pedals Strangesound, I think that they might be what you are looking for.

        Hm..that´s the question.

First I wanted the Distortion Pro..I searched in the forum and I found out it´s Fulltone´s weakest pedal.

The OCD clip with the Les Paul sounds smooth in my ears, doesn´t it?

Rid: Ok thanks..you know my music ambitions..so I´ll try these out

http://www.miaudio.com/ Everything out of stock >.< I think it´ll be hard to get these pedals in germany.

Once again, check out MI Audio, I have nothing against Fulltone, but they do ask alot of money, and MI Audio makes just as good stuff, and the TubeZone sounds like some thing you would love to have, the OCD is a raw pedal.

          And this one

I´ll write an email to the Netherlands retailer and ask how much it´ll cost to send it to Germany. I think they´ve got the pedals in stock.

What about the 15V..is there a power supply given with the pedal?

Thanks joaoneto! I think that I need a delay only but a delay unit costs about 110€ here (Boss) and the G-major offers you many more effects in a great quality.

The Classic 30 has an effect loop, hasn´t it?
