just thinking out loud if there's any od pedal that i can use both warm and clear in the same sentence.
warm would be similar to a tubescreamer. almost creamy if you will. but tubescreamers tend to sound a tad muffled as if all the notes are mashed together with little separation between strings and notes. good for leads but maybe not for rhythm work.
that is where the clear comes in. whereby clarity is achieved without sacrificing warmth. somewhat as if a blanket has been removed from the tone of a ts.
that said, is there any warm sounding od/distortion pedal that allows a certain control over clarity for both lead and rhythm work?
