    Re: CS Vibroverb

I'm not sure what the CS is.. But if this is the Cesar Diaz Mods that Fender did to the Vibroverb, I think its a lot of hype. I played thru one at GC and it was just OK, and the normal price of this amp is 1899. So 1750 ain't that good a deal on an amp that is just OK. They do offer some convience instead of lets say a Super Reverb. The SR IMHO is a much better amp, but they are a whole lot heavier. At the end of that 3rd set you will wish you had the Vibroverb when you have to carry it down 2 flights of stairs.

Its a nice amp, but I feel its over priced by at least 300$.

That's pretty close to what I paid for one new when they first came out. I sent mine back due to an extreme rattle.

        1. It's a GREAT amp! Handwired, quality stuff. It's a keeper.

        2. It's semi painfully loud. It's in that Hot Rod Deluxe category in terms of loudness. Gotta play it loud to get it into meltdown.

        3. Sweet reverb

        4. Built like a tank.

        5. Did I mention loud? I really don't think it's the same circuit as the original. But, I never opened it up back then since i wasn't keeping it.

Christian.....I was going to pull the trigger on that '67 silverface Vibrolux, but somebody snagged it last night And I actually found one of the Vibroverbs for $1600 and one for $1625 with the Emminence AND a JBL 130. Tempting
