I owned one for about 5 years and sold it only because I wanted the 3-channel versatility of the Mark IV. It was great amp. I even modded some of the pre-amp modules based on feedback from the factory. It was prone to blowing the rectifier tube though. I was fortunate and I grew up three miles straight down the road from the Factory in Goleta, CA so I was able to take it in on a few ocassions. To this day I think it had a better gain channel than both on the Mark IV. Saw one at a guitar show a few months back and almost bought it - a lot of rust though...

I still have mine and 9 mods
Mine is blown out.
I still have to say it was amazing clean, and it had a GORGEOUS woody tone to it.
