  • Looking to eliminate ground loop.

I was on here not too long ago and I read a great post about how someone was picking up hum and buzz when running two amps at the same time. Many said it was a ground loop. I've been going through the same thing lately.

In one of the replies I recall reading about a device that eliminated the ground loop. I think it was a Dunlop product, but out under a different name. It was a simple device, two channels with an in and out.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about, let me know. It sure would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Impatient and determined, I found what I was looking for. I went to Musiciansfriend and searched for "Noise"

The Ebtech 2 channel Hum Eliminator. Now is this something you would use after an effects chain or an A/B switch to run two amps. Or is this something you would use between a head and a cab?

I just made a post about this in another thread. It is a power supply adapter, so you would use it if you used two different powering supplies, or an a/b with two amps.
