you don't know how much i want one of those pickguards for my strat. i saw them today. they are so awesome.

That one is brushed diamond. It's pretty cool.

I actually wanted a brushed piece of flat aluminum (no diamonds) as the guitar was meant to look stark and industrial, but they sent me the wrong one by accident and I didn't feel like sending it back.

looks cool anyway, but it would have been better without diamonds. i'm thinking the polished or the flat would be best. the diamonds are probably a bit much. the flat looks cool. or the cross abrasive. the flat looks cooler

i would think that the body plating would screw up your tone badly. wouldn't it? and it costs way too much for me to care .
how do you think the flat would look?

I think that guitar would look better with the flat. The diamond's a bit over the top IMO.

I'd say just point both amps towards one mic, and record it as one track. That way we get the full effect of this great rig!

It'd need two channels panned left and right, otherwise you wouldn't get the separation that's going on between the two.
