Enlighten me on the tuner. I have never really looked into them. My Boss pedal tuner does all I need. Why do those cost close to $200?

because it says Peterson on it!

They are more accurate than the Boss but the Boss is pretty much a standard IMO...I have never done a gig w/o one and to be honest everytime I see another guys pedal board he uses the Boss too!

With my R8, LP Jr, Highway 1 Strat, Silvertone Twin Twelve, Mig 50, and 70's silverface Champ I'm feeling pretty damn content. Lately I've been in love with the R8 straight into the Champ.

That's what I've usually seen, too. I think the Peterson is really better suited for doing intonation and such.
