  • Hughes & Kettner Puretone

Someone is selling one for $1000 locally (asking).

I heard it at the LA Amp show and was impressed, reminded me of a thicker Bad Cat.

    30w Class A EL34

    Any opinions?

(lol, like I have a grand to spare)

Always heard they were really good amps. Sounds like H&Ks version of the Class A Matchless type deal. I'd love to try it sometime, I'd probably dig it because I really liked the Triamp I owned a long time ago.

It's funny you mention it's a thicker sounding Bad Cat, I've always felt Bad Cats were pretty thin sounding amps.
