Congrats on the new axe! I have a preference for basses that aren't painted and actually show the wood. How does it sound?

my first bass was a 5 string Carvin
the extra string is a daunting challenge for a beginner

          I love Ibanez basses
the 5 strings arent much wider than the four string models

          enjoy it

Beautiful instrument! I applaud you for jumping in at the deep end, so to speak. Assuming you're not broke or bankrupt, you'll never regret spending the money to get a quality piece of gear for your first bass.

                Beautiful bass.

"And Blueman, I am pretty sure you've pissed off a lot of people."
"Wait, I know! Blueman and Lew can arm wrestle, and the winner gets to decide if 250K pots sound good or not."
