Traded my old rehearsal room drum kit for an 87 Ibanez SR 1000e bass yesterday. Along the way someone swapped out the stock P/J set for a Rex Brown P/J set, but left the stock volume/tone/blend and three way boost switch. Any chance one of you guys know the difference between the Rex QP pickups and stock QP pickups in terms of EQ/tone?
